Sri
Aurobindo Society of Hong Kong was established on
15th July 1986 with the object to spread the teachings
of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother and their system
of Integral Yoga throughout the world.
The
concentrated effort of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother
culminated on February 29, 1956 in the manifestation
of the Supramental-consciousness upon earth. Immediately
after that a collective reality began to appear
which was not necessarily limited to the Ashram,
but embraced all who had declared themselves, not
materially but in their consciousness, to be disciples
of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother and were trying
to live in their consciousness.
The
true aim of life is to find the Divine’s Presence
deep inside oneself and to surrender to It so that
It takes the lead in life, in all the feelings and
in all the actions of the body.
After
all, it is very simple, we have only to become what
we are in the depths of our being.
The
aim of ordinary life is to carry out one’s
duty, the aim of spiritual life is to realise the
Divine.
True
spirituality is not to renounce life, but to make
life perfect with the Divine’s Presence.
The
life of a man is unfulfilled unless he has found
the Divine.
